HPWWI at SICA 2025

At HPWWI, we believe every platform is an opportunity to share our purpose, building a skilled, future-ready India. This belief came alive at SICA 2025, where our CHRO, Mr. Amit Prasad, proudly represented us on a national stage.

Invited to the 5th edition of the Social Impact Conference & Awards (SICA) 2025, hosted by The CSR Universe, HPWWI joined leaders and changemakers who are shaping the future of education and skilling in India.

On the panel “Rethinking Education & Skilling for the Next Generation,” Mr. Prasad shared HPWWI’s vision of empowering learners and professionals through innovation, inclusion, and industry-relevant skills. He also emphasized the importance of sector-specific skilling, highlighting the role of woodworking technicians:
“Under HPWWI, we are working on skill development for carpenters. This is one of the sectors in India that has seen a lot of innovation in the last decade. But at the end of the day, it is the woodworking technician who ensures the final fit and finish. If adequate effort is not given to their skilling, this industry will not grow. At HPWWI, we are creating learning opportunities for them.”

The conference theme, “Impact 2.0,” deeply connected with who we are. For us, skilling is not just about preparing people for jobs, but about creating opportunities that spark meaningful change for individuals, industries, and communities.
