With 42 years of extensive industry experience, including six years focused on skilling, Deepak Sharma is a cornerstone of HPWWI's mission to empower individuals through vocational training.
He played a pivotal role in securing the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) status for HPWWI and was honored with the Skill Catalyst Award by the Indian Kitchen Congress in 2021 for his exceptional contributions to training Woodworking Technician under the RPL 4 scheme.
Currently, Mr. Deepak leads initiatives to adopt ITIs across India and mobilize underprivileged students for the Short-Term Training (STT)program, ensuring they receive quality training and meaningful industry placements. His leadership reinforces HPWWI's commitment to workforce development and excellence.

Dr. Nitish J. Ghadage is a committed CSR and development professional with nine years of experience leading meaningful projects in agriculture, healthcare, skill development, and sustainable livelihoods. A Ph.D. gold medalist in Horticulture, he has contributed his expertise to respected organizations such as Nayara Energy Ltd. (Gujarat), NABFOUNDATION - NABARD (Mumbai), Bajaj Foundation (Uttar Pradesh), and Triveni Kalyan Foundation - Pidilite (Gujarat), creating initiatives that uplift communities and deliver lasting social impact.
He now serves as Head - West Zone at Hettich Poddar Woodworking Institute, Mumbai, where he is dedicated to building strong industry partnerships, improving student employability, and promoting inclusive skill development. With a vision to connect training with real-world opportunities, Dr. Ghadage continues to inspire excellence and make a positive difference in education, skills, and community empowerment.

Trainer | Woodworking CNCs & Software Specialist | Production & Operations Expert
Jyoti Ashutosh is an experienced trainer and operations professional specializing in Wood & Metal working, CNC machinery, and Production management. Currently, at HPWWI (Hettich India Pvt. Ltd.), he leads training sessions on Wood Science and Machining and Integration software like b_Solid, b_Opti, Spazio 3D, Imos IX23 and machine operations for candidates, internal teams.
Holding a Diploma in Advanced Woodworking and a B.Sc. in Physics (Hons.), Jyoti excels in training, process optimization, and operational efficiency. A former Machinist at Gun & Shell Factory (Ordnance Factory Board, MoD, India), he has expertise in CNC and conventional machining.

I am Kulwant Jangra, Woodworking Professional with 12 years of experience in Furniture Industry. Expert with Hand and Power tools along with various type of Hardware fitting and Conventional Machines. a certified and experienced Carpentry Trainer currently associated with the Hettich Poddar Wood Working Institute, specializing in the Furniture Sector. With a deep passion for craftsmanship and skill development, I have been actively involved in training and mentoring students across various job roles in carpentry and woodworking.

Swapnil Verma, an Electrical Engineering graduate, began her career as an Assistant Trainer at Hettich India Pvt. Ltd., gaining years of experience in product training. She is now a key part of HPWWI, where she focuses on delivering technical training to empower students and professionals in the woodworking industry. Swapnil is dedicated to enhancing skill development and supporting HPWWI's mission to foster workforce excellence.

Mr. Alok Ranjan Biswas is a seasoned and result-driven professional with over 27 years of extensive experience in leading regional and international business operations across the building materials and services industry. A postgraduate in Business Administration, he has successfully contributed to the growth and brand development of reputed organizations such as Eureka Forbes Ltd., Oyster Bath, Bomanite India, Callistus Blinds (Middle East), and Wiffy, with a strong focus on marketing, business development, and strategic expansion.
Currently, Mr. Biswas serves as the Head – East Zone at Hettich Poddar Woodworking Institute (HPWWI), Kolkata. In this role, he is committed to strengthening industry partnerships, enhancing student employability, and promoting inclusive and future-ready skill development. Driven by a vision to bridge the gap between training and real-world industry requirements, he continues to play a pivotal role in empowering learners, fostering excellence, and creating a meaningful impact in education, skills development, and community growth.
Guest Trainer Architect cum NID Qualified Designer, Training in Interior Planning / Furniture Design
A post graduate in Furniture and Interior Design from NID-Ahmedabad with experience across a number of large companies besides being a lecturer at 3 reputed institutes in subjects including furniture design. Currently, heads the Design cell at Hettich India.
Over 20 years of experience in Wood Working, Furniture Production, Furniture and Fittings and Modular Furniture Installation. Now an expert trainer and technical support for Hettich and is a certified NSBC/FFSC trainer for various job roles of wood working, furniture fittings and assembly.
